1. Processing of personal data

This Privacy Statement applies to the processing of personal data by the private company with limited liability Eisenkolb B.V., with its registered office at Marinus van Meelweg 15 in Eindhoven and its affiliated companies. To be referred to hereinafter as “Eisenkolb” and / or “we”.

Eisenkolb respects the privacy of visitors to its website www.eisenkolb.com (hereinafter referred to as “Website”) and consumers of services and / or products and ensures that the personal data you provide to Eisenkolb is treated confidentially. In this privacy statement we inform you about the way in which we collect personal data and how we handle it.

Eisenkolb processes personal data because you use our website, purchase products or services and because you provide them yourself (for example via our website).

If you do not provide your personal data, we will not be able to contact you and we will not be able to execute agreements with you for the provision of services and products.

When you use the contact form on our Website, we collect your name and address, company name, e-mail address, IP address, telephone number.

4. Why we process your personal data

We use the data collected by us to / for:

  • compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • to contact you
  • enter into an agreement or convert a quotation into an agreement
  • confirming and delivering your order
  • approach you for newsletters that may be relevant to you if you have registered for them

5. Basis

We process the above personal data on the basis of the following principles.

  • In the context of an agreement: If you purchase a service from us, such as requesting a quote or placing an order, we process the personal data necessary for the execution of the agreement.
  • Legitimate interest: We may also process personal data if we have a legitimate interest in this and do not disproportionately infringe your privacy.
  • Consent: if we have asked for your consent to process your personal data and you have given this consent. In that case you always have the right to withdraw your consent. This is without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before the withdrawal.

6. How long we keep your personal data

Eisenkolb does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the stated purposes for which your data is collected, unless longer storage is required by law and regulations.

7. Job applicants

Eisenkolb collects and processes data from applicants that are relevant for completing the application procedure. Such as information about the applicant’s education level and employment history. We process this data because we have a legitimate interest in being able to assess whether the applicant’s qualities match the job description. Personal data that we receive in the context of an application procedure will be deleted no later than 4 weeks after the procedure has ended, unless the applicant requests this earlier.

If the application procedure leads to an employment contract, the personal data will be kept for as long as necessary. For information about the processing of personal data of employees, reference is made to the (internal) Privacy statement employees Eisenkolb.

8. Sharing your personal data with third parties

We can engage service providers (processors) for the processing of personal data. We only provide personal data if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you and / or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processor agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.

We share your personal data with the following categories of third parties:

  •  third parties who help Eisenkolb to maintain and develop its websites.

9. Transfer of your personal data outside the EU

We do not transport your personal data to countries outside the European Union.

10. How we protect your personal data

Eisenkolb takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. We do not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people.

No tracking cookies are used on this website. Eisenkolb uses Google Analytics.

13. Your rights over your personal data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw or restrict your consent to the data processing, or to object to the processing of your personal data by Eisenkolb and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for cancellation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@eisenkolb.com. To ensure that the request has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy.

We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. We would also like to point out that you have the opportunity to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. However, we strive to work with you to find a suitable solution in case of complaints.

Eisenkolb can make changes and additions to this Privacy Statement. We invite you to consult this Privacy Statement regularly so that you remain informed. This version has been adopted on March 13, 2020.
